Blakeview Patterned Concrete Sleeper

A decorative concrete sleeper from our Showcase range, with the Blakeview pattern, left unsealed for a natural finish, and a smooth back. Use it to build retaining walls, garden beds and terraces where the wall face is on show. Each sleeper is 200mm high and 75mm thick, made from 40MPa concrete with two reinforcing bars. Sleepers stack horizontally between galvanised steel H posts, with C posts at the ends, building the wall up 200mm at a time. Choose a length (1.6m, 2.0m or 2.4m) to match your post spacing: shorter spans suit higher walls and softer ground, while longer spans use fewer posts on low walls.

Under 100 sleepers: usually delivered in 1–21 business days. 100 or more: we confirm your delivery date when you order.

How sleeper lengths work: sleepers are sold by nominal length, the distance between post centres. The actual sleeper is 10–20mm shorter so it fits between the posts. 1.6m spacing suits higher walls and softer ground; 2.4m uses fewer posts on low walls.

Matching posts: 75mm sleepers fit 100 Series posts: 100UC H posts between bays, 100PFC C posts at the ends, and 100 Series corner posts where the wall turns.

Colour: concrete varies a little in colour and texture between batches, so order all the sleepers for one wall together.

Also order: sleeper wedges to hold each sleeper tight, concrete for the post piers, and post caps or AllCapps capping to finish the wall.

Patterned sleepers are poured to order. Allow 2 to 21 business days and order the full wall in one batch for colour consistency.

This design also comes as a Mini sleeper: 1.5m long, 150mm high and 65mm thick. Mini sleepers fit 65 Series posts only, not standard sleeper posts.

Sleepers are too long and heavy for a parcel service. Concrete sleepers are delivered by truck and need to be unloaded with a forklift, hiab, telehandler, Moffett or similar. Freight depends on your suburb and the weight of your order, and can vary with your site access.

Under 100 sleepers: usually delivered in 1–21 business days. 100 or more: we confirm your delivery date when you order. Express delivery in 2 business days may be available on request. We confirm the date with you before you pay.

Delivery area

We deliver this product to Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Gympie. Outside these areas, freight is confirmed with you before payment.

Vehicle access

Allow a safe approach, turning space and a clear, level unloading point. Tell us about narrow gates, steep driveways or overhead obstructions.

Unloading & handling

Confirm who will unload and whether equipment is needed. A forklift, crane or tail-lift is not automatically included.

In Queensland, retaining walls over 1m in retained height generally need building approval and an engineered design. Lower walls can still need approval when they are close to a boundary or a building, support a driveway or pool, or carry a fence. Check with your council before you order.
