FRP Composite Sleeper 200 x 50mm
Lightweight fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite sleepers, 200mm high and 50mm thick, from about 5kg each. They won't rot, rust or crack, and the colour is moulded right through, so there is nothing to paint. One person can carry and fit them. Use them for garden beds, edging, under-fence plinths and retaining walls to 900mm. Choose from five colours: Light Grey and Graphite in 1.6m, 2.0m and 2.4m, and Woodland Grey, Heritage Green and Paperbark in 2.4m.

Choosing posts: use 65 FRP composite posts for garden beds and walls to 400mm. For retaining walls from 400mm to 900mm, use 65 Series or 100 Series galvanised steel posts.
Colours: Light Grey and Graphite come in 1.6m, 2.0m and 2.4m lengths. Woodland Grey, Heritage Green and Paperbark come in 2.4m only. Woodland Grey and Paperbark are matched to the Colorbond colours.
Under a fence: the 2.4m composite sleeper doubles as a plinth under a Colorbond fence.
Engineering: the system is independently tested (University of South Australia) and engineer certified for walls to 900mm. Higher walls need a different system.
Also order: Eco Wedges (80 pack) to hold the sleepers tight in the posts, and AllCapps capping for a finished top edge.
Warranty: lifetime manufacturer warranty.
Supplier range: supplied as the EcoSleeper FRP range.

Delivery area
We deliver this product to Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Gympie. Outside these areas, freight is confirmed with you before payment.
Vehicle access
Allow a safe approach, turning space and a clear, level unloading point. Tell us about narrow gates, steep driveways or overhead obstructions.

What are composite sleepers?
Composite sleepers are lightweight fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) sleepers. These composite sleepers are 200mm high and 50mm thick, from about 5kg each. They won't rot, rust or crack, and the colour is moulded right through, so there is nothing to paint.
How strong are composite sleepers compared with concrete?
Composite sleepers are much lighter than concrete, at about 5kg each, so one person can carry and fit them. They suit garden beds, edging, under-fence plinths and retaining walls to 900mm. For taller or heavily loaded walls, use concrete sleepers and an engineered design.
What length and colour composite sleepers do I need?
Sleeper length is the distance between post centres, so choose the length that matches the post spacing in your wall design. Light Grey and Graphite composite sleepers come in 1.6m, 2.0m and 2.4m. Woodland Grey, Heritage Green and Paperbark composite sleepers are supplied in 2.4m only.
Can I use composite sleepers as an under fence plinth?
Yes. At 200mm high and 50mm thick, the 2.4m composite sleeper doubles as a plinth under a Colorbond fence, and Woodland Grey and Paperbark are matched to Colorbond colours. There is also a dedicated composite under fence plinth in our range, made to fit standard fence post channels.
