Check your wall design
In Queensland, walls over 1m high, or walls supporting a load such as a driveway or building, generally need an engineer's design and council approval. Confirm sleeper and post sizes against your design before ordering.

04 / Product FAQs
Before you order.
What is retaining wall capping?
Retaining wall capping is a fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) cover that glues to the top of the sleepers and the front face of the posts, giving the wall a clean, safe finished edge. It comes in Concrete Grey and Graphite, with the colour moulded right through. Sizes suit 65mm, 100mm and 150mm posts.
How much retaining wall capping do I need?
Use one 2.6m length per 2.4m sleeper bay, one 2.2m length per 2.0m bay, and either for a 1.6m bay. Allow one extra length per post (cut to height) plus one for C posts and corners.
How is retaining wall capping fixed?
Cut to length with a drop saw, trial fit, then glue with Sikaflex or a polyurethane construction adhesive (not included). Weight it down while the glue cures.
Can retaining wall capping be cut on site?
Yes, with a drop saw. Wear covered clothing, gloves and a mask: FRP contains fibreglass.
